Route and schedule

Arrival of participants at the departure point in Kirkonkylä, which is in the historic district of Pohja , Boats are rigged and inspected. Crew Briefing at 18:00 at the Center.

Friday July 16^th

09:00 Official start of RAID FINLAND 2003, Depart Pohja bay sailing south in Finland’s only Fjord to the town of Ekenäs for lunch, then we depart south for the Sjömansro center in Lappvik for the evening. 15.0 NM

Saturday July 17^th

Boats will depart Sjömansro and sail for the Tvärminne zoological station for a lunch visit. After lunch sail east to Skåldö for the evening. 12.1 NM

Sunday July 18^th

Depart and sail SW, the scenery shifts from inner to outer archipelago on the way to the island of Jussarö for lunch. Read more Then departing for the Bovik Sheep Farm for the evening for the evening.14.3 NM

Monday July 19^th

Depart for the castle ruins of Raseborg for lunch, before sailing for Barösund 18.5 NM

Tuesday July 20^th

Depart from Barösund heading NNN for the village of Ingå to enjoy the rest of the afternoon visiting the open air historical village museum and the medieval church of Saint Nicholas. 6.4 NM

Wednesday July 21^st

10:00 Depart from Ingå sailing South-East to Obbnäs. 10.7NM

Thursday July 22^nd

11:00 Depart Obbnäs sailing/rowing north for Pikkala Gård in Siuntio. 7.0 NM
